Re: nyomtatas vms-rol IP-n

1.

Amennyiben ez a Lantronix egy halozati printszerver, akkor attol fuggoen,
 hogy melyik portjan (soros/parhuzamos) van a nyomtato es ahhoz milyen TCP
 port van hozzarendelve, letre lehet hozni a printer queue-t a VMS-en, ugy
 hogy a device igy legyen az init-ben: 
/AUTOSTART_ON=(nodename::"printserver:port")
Ehhez meg az kell, hogy elotte az ucx-ben ill. ujabb VMS verziokban a 
TCPIP-ben: ADD HOST printserver /ADDRESS=IP cim. 
A  queue init-jeben a port pedig az a port ami hozza van rendelve a 
printserver parhuzamos portjahoz (vszinuleg 9100). Ezt a printserverek-nel
 altalaban vagy web-es feluleten vagy telnet-en lehet ellenorizni.

Ezt a tipust nem ismerem, nalunk 90M-ek vannak es ugy oldottuk meg a 
firmware toltest (vms nelkul), hogy a Digital NetRider Loader programot 
telepitettuk egy Windows-os gepre, felraktuk a firmware file-okat, 
bekonfigoltuk es muxik.
De ezt nem ertem, hogy IP print serverkent, hogy lehetne hasznalni, ez 
alapvetoen LAT-hoz keszult, ha jol tudom, ill. azt tamogatja.
Ha ez egy WAN egyik site-ja es a printereknek van halokartyajuk (pl. HP LJ
 4000 network nyomtato) akkor csak ugy kell megcsinalni a queue-t a te 
telephelyeden, hogy arra az IP-re es a 9100-as portra mutasson. Persze ezt
 barmilyen TCPIP printszerverrel meg lehet oldani, aminek egyik fele 
network(RJ45) masik meg mondjuk paralell. 

(En INTERMEC 501XP cimkenyomtatohoz keszitettem igy queue-t, bar az igaz,
 hogy neki van halokartyaja es a belso szoftveret kellett ugy alakitani, 
hogy arrol az input csatornarol vegye az adatot, sajnos a ZEBRA-kat nem 
ismerem.)

Ha elkestem a valaszokkal, vagy hulyesegeket irtam akkor bocsi!

Ket gondom van.

1.

tavoli nyomtatora kellene nyomtatni.
A nyomtato  Epson fx 880
 Lantronix LPS1-en van.

TCP/IP-vel lehet elérni.

A server:
DS20, VMS 7.2-1, TCPIP V5.0A

Mit lehet (kell) haszálni ?

2.
Ugyanott kellene a DECsetver TS90-et telepíteni, rajta
nyomtatokat. Ez tolti a sw-t, de ott nincs VMS. Tud-e
tölteni TCP/IP halozaton, es lehetne-e hasznalni mint IP
print szerver ?.
A nyomtatoknak (EPSON FX, illetve Zebra vonalkodnyomtato)
soros portjuk is van.
